Test Score Charts

Following are the links to the Test Score Charts. In order to view these charts , you must have adobe flash installed. The data on these charts shows the percentage of the total student population in any particular grade who "Meet" or "Exceed"(combined into one-Proficient") in any given core area.

There are three main types of charts here namely Line Graph, 3D Column and 2D Doughnut Charts. Just click on the one that you want to view. For Kinder thru 2nd grade, the data is taken from DIBELS, Terra Nova and from 3rd thru 8th grade the data is taken from AIMS Scores. All data in the following charts indicates the percentage of proficient in the core areas of the school curricula.

SPECIAL THANKS:: I would like to thank Ms. Tricia McQueen sincerely, who has been compiling, dis-aggregating, tabulating the GCCS Data from last many many years. Thanks You !!

COMPARATIVE STUDY DATA: EARLY GRADES AT GCCS

Gila Crossing School collected the primary data for an empirical study in March 2009. This empirical study was based on A random sampling data that was collected and tracked the same students from Pre-School thru 2nd grade. A total of ten students (of each group) were selected from two groups of student populations representing Demo Grant and other than DEmo Grant. Furthermore, all these students were Native American Students who have spent a major portion (6 months or more)of the school year in our pre-school program. To minimize the skewness of the data and reduce the number of variables in the equation, none of the special needs students were included in the random sampling. The primary intent of this study was to check how effectively the Pre-School programs were working as far as preparing these 3 & 4 years old students for kinder ready skills. The assessment data that was included in this study came from standardized scores of AIMS, Terra-Nova, DIBLES and Aimsweb. Some of the scores in DIBELS were averaged out. All data is in percentiles.

Our Family & Child Education (FACE) program also collected data based on the survey that they conducted by interviewing teachers of Kinder thru 3rd grade level at our Elementary school.

Following graphs is the result of these studies.
